Recently opening its doors to the public, the Victoria Kovalenchikova Gallery exclusively represents the artworks of a prolific young painter of Belarusian descent, Victoria Kovalenchikova, currently working in Amsterdam. Although she is just 30 years of age, Victoria's works have already appeared in dozens of shows in several different countries. Moreover, the VK Gallery is also the nucleus of her artistic creativity: the same location continues to serve as her painting studio, as well.

In addition to possessing exceptional technical abilities as a painter, Victoria's works also demonstrate a strong knowledge of art history. Her fascination with the cityscape - both its architecture and its inhabitants - is quite evident in most of her works. She frequently attempts to portray the passage of time by recalling seemingly innocuous events unfolding at specific locations engrained in our collective memories. Most importantly, Victoria views the creative process of painting as a means of digesting life as a whole by piecing together its infinite fragments.

Currently the VK Gallery also represents more artists who are working in different genres. The aim of the Gallery is to promote Belarusian art school in Holland, which is very strong today.
